Virtus.pro and Team Spirit have kicked off their participation in the BLAST Open Spring 2025 tournament for Counter-Strike 2, currently taking place in Copenhagen and continuing in Lisbon. In their initial matches, both teams displayed solid gameplay by securing victories over their opponents.

Virtus.pro faced off against FaZe Clan, triumphing in a closely contested series that ended with a score of 2:1. The team showcased exceptional coordination and strategy, particularly on the decisive map Dust 2, where they left no chances for their rivals, winning 13:0.

Meanwhile, Team Spirit battled against The Huns and concluded the match with a score of 2:0. Their confident performance on the maps Anubis and Dust 2 allowed them to advance to the next round of the upper bracket.

Both teams continue their quest for a spot in the playoffs, where the top three teams from each group will have the opportunity to compete for the tournament’s grand prize.

The BLAST Open Spring 2025 takes place from March 19 to March 30. 16 teams are vying for a prize pool of $400,000, and the top six teams will also receive tokens in the Frequent Flyers program.
